Only one watch survived NASA's test- undoubtedly the toughest ever devised for a watch- to choose a chronograph for use in its Apollo lunar programme: the OMEGA Speedmaster Professional. OMEGA's association with space exploration has since remained legendary, with the Speedmaster still flight-qualified by NASA and chosen by the Russian space agency.
